A Bespoke Proposal

The marriage proposal is undeniably the one responsibility that falls to our partners. This prospect may send some of us ladies into a flurry/state of panic, but it does bring to light the pressure that most men experience when planning such a memorable moment.

Back in the day, referring to our parents, proposals tended to follow the simple approach of ‘fancy getting hitched?’ followed by a rocking bell bottom fest party.

These days it is hard not to drop a few hints or exaggerate another’s engagement story in the desperate hope you are setting the standard for your own. But is it really worth dropping that much cash for a phenomenal proposal moment?

Two possible answers here:

  1. YES- I have been waiting for this all my life and this moment will be shared for generations to come.
  2. I’m not too fussed, but it must be a special moment shared together, ie not in a public place like McDonalds or Starbucks

If your answer was no.2, then there could be some advantages like more pennies for your wedding budget, or if the shoes are a priority it will have to be a Louboutin/Blahnik investment.

One such bespoke proposal that struck me as genius is the Ultimate Bespoke Box by Anya Hindmarch that a very lucky Poppy Delevingne received from her fiancé this month.

It is an amazing trinket box that is personalised with your photos and a message to your loved one ie. Will you marry me!!!

Prices start from £895 – £2900 depending on the size of the box, but there is also this keepsake box below from £290-£330, depending on the amount of personal touches.

Little White Book heart shout out for this stunning proposal idea.
