The National Wedding Show 2013
Welcome to my edit of the finest in show from the National Wedding Fair!
With my camera & notepad in tow, I joined forces with the masses of excited brides exploring & meeting all the wonderful providers & product on show. There were catwalks to attend, expert wedding advise sessions, champagne to sample & lots of lovely tasters from the wedding favour and cake stands, yum!
The show featured hundreds of unique products & wedding vendors, making it a tough pick, so I do hope you enjoy my edit of best in show.
Sweetheart necklines, lace and Grecian styling stood out as the strongest trends on the catwalk, accessorised with vintage feel bouquets & hair styled in a variety of up-dos.
The best wedding dresses were exhibited by White Mischief (left) & Hazaar of London, who have cleverly designed dresses where the skirts are easily removable to reveal a delightful cocktail reception dress…. dance floor here I come!
I was won over by the choice & exquisite detail of the hair accessories, tiaras & veils on display at Gillion Million (left) & Ivory & Co
Which bride could resist these sparkling beauties by Benjamin Adams? Gosh too many gorgeous wedding shoe designs to choose from.
For our beautiful bridesmaids: They will just love you forever if you choose this one shoulder mint Fever design or a creation by Not Another Boring Bridesmaid Dress. If you are looking for a unique flower girl dress design, then look no further than Lorna May Bespoke Designs.
What will you cherish for years to come…it is of course your wedding photos! So you definitely wont want to miss the amazing talent of Elizabeth Lois & Jackson & Co, to capture every moment of your amazing wedding day. And not to forget Love Storage – the best videograhers on show!
Trust in Nicola of Foxgloves & Roses to transform your venue & bring it to life with her expertise in sourcing beautiful flowers & wild foliage for your wedding day. Searching for wedding decor? Check out Lavenders of London, their display at the show was spectacular, this is the Aladins cave of wedding decor.
Those extra special touches make all the difference, so here are my favourite suppliers offering a product that’ll make your wedding stand out from the crowd: Light up your reception with these vintage style alphabet letters or a love heart by Caroussel Lights. Go big or go home, I’ve fallen for these super size baloons by Bubblegum balloons. Photobooth fun with these hand crafted wooden props by The Happy Wedding.
My favourite part of a wedding has to be the the cutting of the cake. Make your wedding cake a showstopper with these amazing cake designs by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium (left) & Ann’s Designer CakesDelicious treats & a worthy cause – what a great idea for your guest’s favours. The treats that tasted and stood out were by Ganache Macaron & Spun Candy & the most amazing gift of all is making a donation on behalf of your guests to Cancer Research UK
This weekend the National Wedding Show will be in Birmingham so if you want to meet some of these amazing vendors, do head over to the NEC, enjoy!
